Privacy Policy
This policy explains, in clear terms, how Autodeck handles dealer information, showroom data, inquiry and analytics data, and subscription billing information for the features currently offered in the app.
Effective date: April 6, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Autodeck collects, uses, stores, and shares information when a dealer creates an account, builds a showroom, uploads inventory, receives buyer inquiries, connects a custom domain, enables notifications, or uses subscription billing inside the platform.
This policy applies to dealer-facing use of Autodeck. It covers the information required to operate the product features that are currently available in the app.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the information a dealer provides directly, the information created while using the platform, and limited technical information required to keep the service running securely.
- Dealer account information, such as business name, login credentials, email address, and dealership subdomain.
- Dealership profile information, such as logo, cover photo, tagline, business description, contact numbers, WhatsApp number, email contact, address details, operating hours, social links, template choice, and branding settings.
- Inventory information, such as vehicle make, model, year, photos, price, specifications, listing status, and other listing details entered by the dealer.
- Buyer interaction records, such as vehicle inquiry events, callback or sell-request submissions, page views, click activity, and related analytics shown in the dashboard.
- Custom domain connection data, such as domain name, DNS verification details, connection status, and SSL verification state when a dealer chooses to connect an eligible domain.
- Notification data, such as browser push subscription details, if the dealer enables PWA reminders.
- Billing data required for subscriptions, such as selected plan, subscription status, Razorpay customer ID, Razorpay subscription ID, billing dates, cancellation status, and payment event metadata. Autodeck does not store full card numbers, UPI PINs, or other full payment instrument details.
- Technical and security information, such as IP address, session information, request metadata, browser information, and logs needed for authentication, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and manage dealer accounts and dealership workspaces.
- To publish and host dealer showroom pages and vehicle listings.
- To process buyer inquiry flows, WhatsApp lead actions, call actions, and related analytics.
- To store, deliver, and optimize uploaded photos and other media.
- To manage free trials, subscriptions, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and billing history.
- To deliver PWA reminders and other platform notifications when a dealer has opted in.
- To secure the platform, investigate misuse, prevent fraud, enforce rate limits, and maintain system integrity.
- To provide customer support, product maintenance, and service communications related to the dealer account.
4. Billing and Payment Data
Paid subscriptions in Autodeck are processed through Razorpay for Starter, Growth, and Pro plans. The Free plan does not require payment. Enterprise billing is handled outside the self-serve checkout flow.
Autodeck stores subscription and payment reference data needed to manage plan access and billing state. Razorpay processes payment instruments and recurring mandates. Autodeck does not collect or retain full payment card data or UPI credentials.
5. Sharing of Information
We share information only where necessary to operate the product features currently offered by Autodeck.
- With hosting, database, storage, and delivery providers used to run the application, store dealership data, and serve uploaded media.
- With Razorpay to create and manage paid subscriptions and process recurring billing for eligible paid plans.
- With email delivery providers when the product sends account or transactional messages.
- With domain infrastructure providers when a dealer connects and verifies a custom domain.
- When required by applicable law, lawful request, or to protect the security, rights, and integrity of the platform, its dealers, or the public.
6. Public Showroom Content
Dealer showroom pages and published vehicle listings are intended to be public. Information a dealer publishes in the showroom, including business details, listing details, media, and public contact methods, may be visible to buyers and search engines.
7. Data Retention
We retain dealer data for as long as it is needed to provide the service, maintain subscription and account records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Public showroom content remains available while it is actively published by the dealer or while the dealer account remains active in the product.
8. Security
Autodeck uses authentication controls, server-side access rules, payment signature verification, origin checks, storage controls, and other technical safeguards to protect dealer data and billing operations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we design the platform to reduce unauthorized access, billing misuse, and data exposure risk.
9. Dealer Responsibilities
Dealers are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the business information, listing content, buyer communications, and contact details they publish through Autodeck. Dealers should avoid uploading or publishing information they are not permitted to use or disclose.
10. Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Autodeck after the updated policy becomes effective means the dealer accepts the revised policy.
